Refund Policy

Policy for unsuccessful edits, Wallet Credit and monetary refund requests.

Effective date: 8 September 2026

1. Your legal rights come first

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Those protections may apply to business customers as well as individuals.

Where you are legally entitled to a monetary refund, we will not require you to accept Wallet Credit instead. Other remedies, including correcting the service, cancellation or compensation, may apply depending on the circumstances.

2. An edit failed or the result is unsatisfactory

Email hello@schubl.com with the order or invoice reference, the affected images and a short description of the issue. We will assess what went wrong and the appropriate remedy. Do not send card credentials.

For an eligible paid edit, our normal service remedy is to restore the affected edit charge as Wallet Credit. The current AI Service Refund flow restores the full discounted net charge for one paid core-model order item. This is credit for future work, not a transfer to your bank or card.

The current service-refund flow covers core-model edits, not AI add-ons. Any legal entitlement to a remedy still applies to add-ons. If you believe a failed job was charged incorrectly, include the relevant charge in your request so we can check it.

3. Requests for money back

You can ask for a refund to the original payment method rather than Wallet Credit. We review those requests separately, taking account of the payment, work supplied, reason for the request and your legal rights. A remedy required by law is not discretionary.

If approved or required, a monetary refund will normally go to the original payment method, unless another lawful arrangement is agreed. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution; no fixed arrival time is promised.

4. Unused credit and free testing

Purchased Wallet Credit does not expire and is not cash-refundable simply because it is unused. Verified billing errors, such as duplicate charges, can be returned to the original payment method. Contact hello@schubl.com about billing errors or account closure. Your rights under applicable law still apply.

Paid top-ups are currently unavailable during Testing. Free Testing credit is promotional credit supplied by Schubl, not money you paid to us, and is scheduled to reset when Beta begins. Restoring free credit is different from refunding a paid purchase. This distinction does not remove any rights that apply by law.

5. Following up

If you disagree with a proposed remedy, reply with the order or invoice reference and explain the outcome you are seeking. Contacting us does not waive your rights to approach your payment provider, a regulator or another available dispute-resolution service.
