Payments & Credit Card Security

How Stripe payments, saved payment methods and Wallet Credit fit together in Schubl AI.

Effective date: 8 September 2026

1. Card payments through Stripe

Card payments and automatic Wallet top-ups are currently paused during free Testing. Schubl supplies promotional Wallet Credit for testing orders; paid top-ups are planned for Beta.

The payment integration uses Stripe for card payments and saved payment methods. When available, the card-setup flow directs you to a Stripe-hosted page to enter and save your card without purchasing credit in that step.

Card credentials are entered through Stripe rather than sent to our support team. Our integration uses Stripe customer, payment-method and transaction references to manage billing. Saving a payment-method reference is different from storing the full card number or security code.

We retain billing information such as invoices, payment status, amounts and Stripe references. We do not make a blanket claim that no payment-related information is stored.

2. Wallet Credit and charges

Wallet Credit is an account balance used to pay for eligible editing work. A Wallet top-up and spending credit on an edit are separate events. Your invoices and Wallet history help identify each transaction.

Check the amount, currency and any taxes before confirming a purchase. Current marketing describes pay-as-you-go editing without a subscription; automatic top-up, if enabled, is a separate optional payment instruction.

3. Saved cards and automatic top-up

A saved Stripe payment method can support automatic Wallet top-up when you explicitly enable it. That authorisation should identify the trigger and top-up amount. Saving a card alone does not authorise unrelated charges.

Review your dashboard settings before enabling automatic top-up. Disabling future top-ups does not reverse completed payments. Contact hello@schubl.com if you need help with a saved method or a payment you do not recognise.

4. Keeping payment details safe

Do not send full card numbers, card security codes or passwords through email, uploaded files or support messages. Use the payment flow reached from your Schubl AI account and check the destination before entering details.

If you suspect an unauthorised payment, contact your card provider promptly and tell us using an invoice or transaction reference. We cannot guarantee that every fraudulent transaction can be prevented.

5. Refunds and payment questions

See the Refund Policy for the difference between restoring Wallet Credit and returning money to a payment method. Any mandatory refund rights take priority over our normal support process.
